— Engagement Register
Three engagements, each suited to a different moment.
The work is structured around three distinct engagement types — a discrete property review, a medium-term repositioning engagement, and a year-long advisory partnership. Each can stand alone or lead naturally to the next.
Return to Home— Our Methodology
How the work is approached.
Every engagement begins with observation rather than assumption. Before any observation is committed to paper, time is spent with the property — walking through it, sitting in the spaces that guests occupy, talking with the people who run it day to day. This grounding is what makes the written outputs specific to the property rather than generic.
The written outputs that follow aim to be useful rather than comprehensive. A property review note might run to eight pages; a positioning document, to twenty. The test is whether an owner can pick it up six months later and find it still useful — not whether it looks thorough.
Observation
On-site presence, conversations with the team, and a structured review of available operating data.
Dialogue
Working sessions with the owner to develop and refine observations — not deliver them from a distance.
Written output
A document calibrated to be genuinely useful — specific to the property, readable in full, and actionable without a translation layer.
01 — First Engagement
Property and Operation Review
฿9,300
A focused engagement for independent hotels, guesthouses, and small resort operators that would like an outside reading of their current operation. The review includes a two-to-three-day visit to the property, conversations with the owner and senior staff, and a short written note covering observations on service, facility condition, staffing arrangements, and the guest journey.
Suitable as a preparatory step before undertaking a refurbishment, a repositioning, or a change in management approach. Also useful as a standalone piece of work for owners who simply want to know how their property reads to an outside observer.
- Two-to-three day on-site property visit
- Structured conversation with owner and senior staff
- Written observation note covering four dimensions
- Brief follow-up call after the note is delivered

02 — Medium-Term Engagement
Repositioning Engagement
฿32,600
A ten-to-twelve-week engagement for independent properties considering a meaningful repositioning — a shift in guest segment, a refurbishment, or a change in operating model from OTA-led to direct or vice-versa. The work covers market reading, guest segment articulation, a written positioning document, and a sensible sequence of considered adjustments to product, service, and channel approach.
Conducted jointly with the owner and operating team, with weekly working sessions and interim drafts. The engagement is structured to fit around the operating calendar — peak season disruption is avoided by design.
- Market reading and competitor context analysis
- Guest segment articulation and documentation
- Written positioning document (working format)
- Channel and distribution review
- Considered sequence of adjustments, prioritised
- Weekly working sessions throughout
Fee structure
Payable in two instalments: 50% at engagement commencement, 50% on delivery of the final positioning document.

03 — Year-Long Partnership
Owner Advisory Partnership
฿64,700 / year
A twelve-month partnership for owners and general managers of independent hospitality properties in Thailand who would find value in a consistent outside counterpart. The partnership includes quarterly property visits, monthly scheduled conversations, and written correspondence between sessions.
Topics follow what matters season by season — a low-season staffing question, a feedback concern from a long-stay guest, or a decision around a refurbishment window. Delivered with attention to the specific texture of Thai hospitality and its seasonal rhythms.
- Quarterly property visits (four per year)
- Monthly scheduled working conversations
- Written correspondence between sessions
- Response to ad-hoc questions within 48 hours
- Annual summary note at partnership close
Fee structure
Billed quarterly in advance. Renewal is by mutual agreement at the twelve-month mark. There is no automatic rollover.

— Standards Applied Across All Engagements
How the work is conducted.
Privacy & Non-Disclosure
Standard NDA in place before any engagement commences. Property details are not shared with third parties.
Scope in Writing
Every engagement is scoped in a brief written document before it begins. No additions to scope without prior written agreement.
Commercial Independence
No commercial relationships with OTAs, suppliers, or hotel management companies. Observations are not influenced by third-party interests.
Calendar Awareness
Engagements are planned to avoid disruption during peak operating periods. The seasonal calendar of each property shapes the engagement schedule.
Bilingual Capacity
Work can be conducted in English and Thai. No reliance on third-party interpreters for conversations with Thai-speaking staff and owners.
Practical Output Format
Outputs are written to be used, not to demonstrate thoroughness. Length is calibrated to what an owner will actually read and reference.
— Begin a Conversation
Not certain which engagement fits? An initial exchange can clarify that.
A brief description of your property and what you're thinking about is usually enough to establish whether there's a useful fit — and, if so, which engagement type makes most sense.
